CIAT
Leader on the French market for air conditioning and treatment and number one industrial employer in Bugey (1700 employees over eight production sites around the world), CIAT (Compagnie Industrielle des Applications Thermiques), based in Culoz, has a turnover of 1,3 milliard French Francs. The ambition of Jean Louis Falconnier, General Manager of the group, is to reach 2 milliard French Francs turnover by 2005 half of which at the export.

ROSET
Implanted in Briod, ROSET employs over 1300 people mainly in the Bugey area. This company -creator of the famous "clic-clac" sofa bed and "Togo"- is know worldwide for its furniture and decoration products.
With talented designers like Jean Nouvel or Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, its products are sold all over the world, particularly in the USA and in Germany through a network of 768 sales points 170 of which are exclusive dealers.

COMATEL is implanted in Belley and employs 440 people with a turnover of 168 MF (2000). This company manufactures pretreated electric wire and robotics equipment and supplies mainly the automotive industry. Aware of the impact of his enterprise on the local economy, M. Gagliardi - general manager of the group- presents his projects every year to the local representatives so that the development of his companies may blend in with that of the city.
Lower-Bugey is a real pole of competence for professional electric equipment.
